‘Per Mare Per Terras’ (By Sea and By Land) is my futuristic interpretation of David Macpherson’s The Rig, reimagined for the year 2060. Quietly inspired by the MacAlister of Glenbarr Hunting Ancient tartan, the design reflects the Scottish landscapes that border and are shaped by the North Sea.
