‘Biform’ is a cross-cultural exploration of a multicultural identity which integrates Scottish textiles with garment details from traditional Chinese dress. The geometric forms and colour palette is a representation of Heather Yellowley’s Chinese tartan fabric. Through the utilisation of crocheted bunjee cord, the collection looks specifically at Scottish heritage by exhibiting technical garments engineered for the great landscapes of the Scottish outdoors.
